Wow. Google is waking up. Their Gmail is one cool app, but I never used it seriously because it didn't have the POP3/SMTP feature, which is how I like to read my mail. Seems like they are listening to their users. They're throwing in POP3/SMTP for FREE!! Amazing! And uses SSL and different port numbers than the regular 110/25 ports. Very secure. It's slow the first time you access it, later on it's pretty fast.
But beware, they're doing it phases, chances are that it's not enabled in your gmail account. If it says "New features!" on the top right corner after you log in, you got POP!
I LOOOOOVE GMAIL!
